CFP Volunteer Program
CrossFit is available to everyone! Period.

CrossFit Providence doesn’t just run on hopes and dreams (they only go so far unfortunately). We have a dedicated team of people, known as the Volunteer Crew, who keep our gym running on a daily basis and volunteer at Brown Street Park and other local non-profits in Providence.
The Volunteer Crew, knows that CrossFit is an effective tool in becoming healthier, fitter, stronger and an all round better person and are prepared to put in the hard yards to keep the gym running so they and others can benefit. Oh yeah, they also get free CrossFit training…
Members of the Crew are the ones who are prepared to roll up their sleeves do a bit of cleaning, landscaping, general upkeep, carpentry, painting and all the other tasks that most people assume happen magically. They also attend events, both at CFP and in the community, advocating CrossFit and the Paleo lifestyle.
10 hours a month is all it takes. Just 10 hours you say? Yes, just 10 hours. If you give us 10 hours of your time each month doing the tasks that keep our gym running we will give you an Unlimited CrossFit Providence membership*. Space is limited!

*Here’s some fine print:
- Must qualify as: Full-time student, unemployed or earning less than RI median($36,900)
- 10 hours work must be completed prior to membership being granted each month
- All classes on the schedule are available except for those at 5:30pm and 6:30pm (Mon – Fri) and 9am Saturday.
- Hours can be broken up depending on availability, event schedules, and the like. Work session times may differ each month
- You will be asked to complete manual labor duties as described above – if you have a special skill please let us know, we may need your help!
