Step 2: Begin On-Ramp Training
All beginners must start with On-Ramp training to begin classes.

Space is limited to 8 people and classes sell out so make sure to reserve. On-Ramp will bring your fitness up to speed and prepare you for class. The six class On-Ramp course is $75* total with a 90-day commitment and enrollment in a monthly auto-pay membership. Without the commitment, On-Ramp classes will cost $150. We are committed to delivering you results and thus ask for a commitment from you, hence the savings.
Your monthly membership will not be charged until after completion of On-Ramp. The 10% LEO/Fire/Military/Income discount does not apply to the On-Ramp fees. You must complete all classes in sequence. If you miss a class, you may go to the later class that same day. If you miss the last class of the day, you must schedule a make-up class online for $20.
Option 2: Skip On-Ramp – For Experienced Athletes Only.
Come in and let us evaluate you by scheduling a private appointment with the CFP staff or attend our Free Intro Class. If you’ve been CrossFitting on your own or have trained as a competitive athlete, you can complete On-Ramp training in 1 to 3 sessions depending on your skill level. Cost is $35/session with enrollment in an auto-pay membership ($70/session without auto-pay membership enrollment).

Upon selecting the On-Ramp with 90-day commitment ($75) we will automatically sign you up for the 12x/month credit card option ($143/month). If you would like to save 5% and provide us with a voided check and your preferred membership before the end of your On Ramp Course. You may upgrade or downgrade you membership at anytime.
You do not have to “get in shape” to start at CrossFit Providence.

Regardless of your fitness, CrossFit will help you achieve your goals. On-Ramp Training is what we call our CrossFit instruction to prepare you for your first CrossFit class. You can complete your On-Ramp training in 1 to 6 sessions. During On-Ramp, our certified CrossFit coaches will teach you how to CrossFit correctly and prevent injuries. After On-Ramp, you will be able to complete any CrossFit workout scaled down. Our On-Ramp course teaches all nine of the major CrossFit movements including:
Olympic Lifting: Deadlift, Clean, Snatch and Jerk with barbells, dumbells, kettlebells and sandbags
Gymnastic movements: Kipping pull-up, Muscle-up, Ring Dip, Rope Climb, Pistols and Box Jump
Kettlebell movements: Kettlebell swing, Sumo Deadlift High Pull
Squats: Overhead, Front and Back
Rowing technique Recovery: Learn what training schedule will optimize fitness.
Nutrition & Health: Discuss the benefits of dieting and lifestyle changes.
