Description: Calling all 1st Responders! Open to everyone including non-CrossFitters so spread the word!
We will be honoring all who were impacted by this tragedy, represented by the 343 New York Firefighters who gave their lives to save others in the terrorist attacks on 9/11.
This workout will be scaled to all fitness levels.
“343″ As prescribed the WOD consists of 343 reps:
100 Deadlifts 145/115
100 Power Cleans 95/65
100 Ground to Overhead 65/35
43 Burpees
Men load a 45# pound bar – women load a 15# bar. First plate is 10#, second plate 15#, third plate 25#. Remove the outer plate after the completion of each lift.
If you can’t make it to CFP or Cynergy, please do the WOD at your box/gym – and let us know how it went!

Description: Fight Gone Bad began as a fundraising event in 2006. From those humble beginnings and with the support of the CrossFit community, we’ve proven what a small, totally committed group of people can accomplish. The first four editions of Fight Gone Bad have raised a combined total of more than $2 million.
Fight Gone Bad 5 opens its arms to benefit three charities this year: LIVESTRONG, Wounded Warrior Project and the CrossFit Foundation.
Fight Gone Bad 5 takes place on Saturday, September 25, 2010.
The event can take place at any CrossFit Affiliate facility between 6am and 4pm.

The Paleo-Zone diet will improve your performance and long-term health!
Attend this 1-hour workshop to learn how to adopt the Paleo-Zone diet for your life. CrossFit Providence Coach, Judah Boulet, is a Nutrition Lecturer at Merrimack College and will be discussing how to practically implement the Paleo-Zone diet to fit your lifestyle. The Paleo-Zone instruction is provided under the supervision of Jeremy Mullins, a Registered Dietician and CrossFit HQ lecturer.
Cost is $10. All workshops at CFP are open to everyone! An outline with diet materials and links for additional study will be provided. Price also includes a blood pressure and body fat analysis (scheduled at a later date.)
For 1-on-1 help in addition to the workshop, you may enroll at any time in the 12-Week CFP Nutrition Program with Coach Boulet.

The Downtown 5K IS LIMITED TO 7,500 IN 2010. No limit on youth races. T-shirts for all entrants but the first 5,000 entrants in the 5K race will receive a custom technical t-shirt. CVS CAREMARK goody bags for the first 5,000 entrants in the 5K and the first 2,000 entrants in youth races.
