October Nutrition Challenge Starts Saturday
The Challenge Starts on Saturday.
The rules are spelled out here at the Whole 9 Website.
Please make sure you read all of this before you start.
It lists what you can and cannot eat! It also tells you more about why doing this is good for you.
If you have to question any of the rules, this challenge is not for you.
If before you start you already have a state of mind of “I don’t think I can do this” the challenge is not for you
This challenge is for those who want to commit to living this way for 30 days straight, no cheats, not even once!
It can be done. You can be successful. It is not that hard.
This challenge is for the participants only. The only prize is the personal satisfaction that you had complete control of you diet for 30 days. The added prize is you will feel spectacular.
Here’s how it should work out!
Saturday Morning:
- Wake up
- Get a starting weight than put the scale in the attic. You will not step on it for 30 days.
- Take a before picture. Go shirtless or in your sports bra. Take a front and side view. These pictures will be seen only by you.
- Get to it for 30 days
October 31
- wake up
- Get your scale from the attic and get a final weight
- Take an after picture, front and side view. If you like the results, and want to share them, please do so
- Reflect on the past 30 days. Challenges, successes, how do you feel. If you want to share this, please do so.
- Smile. You are a healthier version of yourself.

Open Gym:
Come in during class time and work on skill work, create your own WOD (15 minute time cap), focus on mobility. WOD tomorrow will focus on gymnastics strength.

Double KB Row (24/16kg) (Do a bent over row with a KB in each hand)
KB Push-up (push up from KB handles)
In between each round do a 200M Farmers Carry with the KB
Fix it and forget about it!

Class schedule this weekend
Due to the box being booked for a CrossFit certification this weekend, we will be holding the 9am and 3:30pm classes at Brown Street Park (8am class is cancelled) on both Saturday and Sunday.
Come check out this adults’ playground – perfect for crossfitters complete with rings, pullup bars, ropes and loads of open ground for burpees and situps and running!
Sun’s out, gun’s out this weekend so come join us for the WOD outside! Disclaimer: If the sun is not out, we’re still WOD’ing.

Army Staff Sgt. Jack M. Martin III, 26, of Bethany, OK, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group, Fort Lewis, WA, died September 29th, 2009, in Jolo Island, Philippines, from the detonation of an improvised explosive device. Martin is survived by his wife Ashley Martin, his parents Jack and Cheryl Martin, and siblings Abe, Mandi, Amber and Abi.
