Workout of the Day (WOD): 11-Jul-2010
Recent and upcoming changes @ CFP:
1) To keep CrossFit class attendance limited to 18, and Boot Camps to 22, we have implemented an online reservation system for all CrossFit and Boot Camp classes. A beta group will be testing the system this week before it goes box wide. Instructions to follow.
2) To make the website more user-friendly we are adding Scheduling and WOD links to the front page.
3) Additional matting was added to increase the usable floor area.
4) A new Saturday 8:00am class is now in effect starting next weekend.

So there were only four of us at the box this am for class. I initially started doing “Megan” since I opted for a run on the day it was posted. I started at the prescribed 85lbs and quickly realized that my shoulders were not going to survive. I dropped to 76lbs completed 3 rounds and then decided a 5k row sounded less painful. All in all wasn’t really feeling up to it today and probably should have just went straight home!
I found this fun looking event: Metro Dash (Boston). Seems like an urban Tough Mudder. http://www.metrodash.com/the-obstacles/
It is being held on August 7th. Di
Di, after months of crossfit, I checked out that metro dash and thought, probably stupidly, “I can do that”.
Kristen, I agree completely. Any other like-minded folks out there?
