Team Santos

Intro to Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

4-Week Session Starts June 24th @ 5pm and will run every Thursday.
CrossFitters can use the MMA room to practice between sessions.

Cost:  $100 includes gloves and head gear

Learn to Fight!  Kick, punch, choke and grapple with Team Santos.  Mat Santos is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with 15 years of experience in Mixed Martial Arts.  Open to men and women of all ages.  This is not cardio kickboxing, you will learn to fight.

Dynamic Warm-Up

Press – 20 min time limit
Suggested Warm-up 5-5-5-3-2
Work Sets 5-5-5
Add 5 lbs to weight used last week.  Use the same weight for each of 3 sets.  5th rep should not be easy.
Rest 3 min b/t sets

For Max Reps in 12 Minutes:3 minutes of Right-Arm Clean and Press
3 minutes of Left-Arm Clean and Press
2 minutes of Right-Arm Clean and Press
2 minutes of Left-Arm Clean and Press
1 minute of Right-Arm Clean and Press
1 minute of Left-Arm Clean and Press
(Suggested weight: Men – 35-45 lb. DB or KB, Women – 15-30 lb. DB or KB. Keep a running total of reps completed and post to comments.)

Scaling Options
L1 | 25-35lb.DB or KB/10-25 lb.DB or KB
L2 | Scale as needed to complete with good form
