In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.

    I love seeing Murph come around. It hurts, it sucks and there is no other misery like that 2nd mile….42:15 RX

    My first Murph somehow always missed it. Did it in 51:28 RX everything but the push ups. Went to knees at some point. Thanks Caley for running my last 50 m or so with me. Now to shower with my ripped hands, ohhh this is going to hurt. Miss the night crew see you Thursday.

    Hey all….A great big sweaty thanks to all the support I have been receiving from everyone!!! What an amazing show on Saturday…what an incredible honor!! It’s been an amazing ride and one that could never have been taken alone. I do so look forward to returning the kindness and generosity to a whole big group from CFP going next year!!! You are one hell of a community!!

    Finally finished my first WHOLE Murph! 49:10 with a blue band and dropped to my knees after 75 push ups. Thanks to everyone at the 9:30 class this morning. Julie- go to the beach tomorrow- the salt water feels awesome on the ripped up hands. :)

    Failed in my attempt to finish Murph…mile run, 60 pull ups, 120 push ups, and 180 squats, mile run…60:40…puked three times near E&O. Good times!

    54:50. Did the miles on the rower. What a great workout.
    Its really a privilege to honor men like Murph by pushing through the WOD named for him.
    CrossFit is awesome.

    Damn, I guess today had to be the day I learned my lesson on stretching. My legs are mad sore.

    My time actually got a good ten minutes slower than the last time we did murph a couple months ago. I guess heat and no sleep make a difference. Oh well next time murph rolls around, I’ll be there.

    Did Murph at L1 (55%). Goal was to finish at 100% with green band, but instead settled to get the push-ups Rx. Used green band for pull-ups, full plank for push-ups. I could not do a single push-up when I started at CFP in December, so I’ll take the 110 reps and move on…

    The last mile run was absolutely hideous – I wasn’t really moving until the Seven-stars bakery turn. Time = 55:08

    Tuna – despite the puking, you still did awesome…
